Tanner Johnson

Tanner Johnson joined SSJG in January 2026 and is a member of the Tax Department in the Palm Beach Gardens office of Smith, Stohlman, James & Gardere, P.A. Tanner enjoys helping clients navigate the complexities of tax and accounting with accuracy, diligence, and a detail-oriented approach. He has a genuine appreciation for working with numbers and believes that every financial situation deserves thoughtful analysis and careful attention. Committed to continuous learning, Tanner is dedicated to staying current with evolving tax laws and accounting practices to provide clients with dependable, high-quality service. He values building lasting relationships through professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

Before joining the firm, Tanner gained several years of experience as an auditor, developing a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and analytical problem-solving. He also performed bookkeeping services for homeowners' associations and condominium associations, where he managed financial records and supported the unique accounting needs of community associations. Tanner earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and another Bachelor's degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and looks forward to continuing to grow his expertise while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Outside of work, Tanner enjoys staying active through sports, sharpening his strategic thinking with games, and spending quality time with friends and family. He is also a dedicated tea enthusiast who appreciates the small moments of relaxation and reflection that come with a good cup of tea.
